viscosity is defined as property of resistance to flow in a liquid. All the fluids have different rate of viscosity some are high viscous and others are low viscus, for example water has low viscosity then honey. The reason for this property is the frictional force between the molecules of the liquid.
So, we can say that
high viscosity= max magnitude of the frictional force between the molecules of liquid
There is a slightly difference between viscosity and frictional force. Actually viscosity is the inner force in the liquid within a container which can be easily recognize by some method. Here we are presenting a list of different examples of viscosity in everyday life.
List of examples of viscosity
- Engine oil
- cough syrup
- corn starch solution
- Castor oil
