4 earth seasons of the year and What causes seasons to change?

Formation of Seasons

The earth revolves around the sun in an elliptical orbit. It completes its revolution in 365 ¼ days. The axis of the earth is tilted towards the plane of its orbit at an angle of 23 ½ degrees.

The axis always points toward the same fixed point in space—the polar star. Due to these arrangements seasons are formed and the length of the days and nights vary alternately.

The axis of rotation of the earth remains inclined 23.5 degrees towards the plane of its orbit. The axis of rotation remains inclined at the same angle throughout the revolution. In this way, direct rays of the sun fall on different parts of the earth at different times and cause a change of seasons.
